12 nights, 14 days culinary tour to Beijing, Xian, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shanghai

China is a world-renowned "Culinary Kingdom." Chinese cooking techniques are spread far and wide, and Chinese food is loved by the people all over the world. Yet foods prepared in varied regions are quite different in taste, featuring local customs, herbs, spices and sauces. The people of northwest China love sour food; those of southwest China are fond of spicy food; and those from south and east China prefer sweet food. The people of north China mainly eat cooked wheaten food, such as steamed bread, steamed twisted rolls, pancakes and noodles; and the people of south China take rice as staple food.

Our culinary tour introduces you will to the capitals of the four regions of Chinese cuisine and you can take lessons with some of the country's greatest chefs.

Sightseeings include Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City, the Great Wall, Ming Tomb, Sacred road, the Temple of Heaven, and Xiushui Market in Beijing. Provincial Museum, City Wall, Bell Tower, Wild Goose Pagoda, Terracotta Warriors and Horses in Xian;  Dufu House, Wangjiang Tower, Panda base, Dujiangyan Irrigation, and the Sanxingdui Ruin in Chengdu; Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Chen Family Temple, Temple of Six Banyan Trees in Guangzhou; and the Bund, Nanjing Road, Shanghai Museum, Yu Garden, Yuyuan Market, Children's Palace and Oriental Pear TV Tower in Shanghai

Day 1 US/Beijing
Board your flight to China today.
Day 2  Beijing
Arrival in Beijing where you will be transferred to your hotel.
Day 3 Beijing (B/L/D)
Welcoming banquet lunch in "Fangshan Restaurant", which is famous for its Traditional Royal Dishes. Afternoon city tour to Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City. Tonight your banquet is the local restaurant:"Old Pecking" Restaurant, where you will have a 100% percent of the understanding of the Old Pecking Custom & Folk.
Day 4 Beijing (B/L/D)
Full day trip to Great Wall and Ming Tomb and Sacred road. Today will probably be the most exhausting day for you, so there will be a special banquet for you: "Natural Green Food Restaurant". It is a newly-found Restaurant. The biggest characterictic is that all food is made of the natural green food with fine-work. Laoshe Teahouse
Day 5 Beijing (B/L/D)
Temple of Heaven in the morning. In the noon, make Jiaozi together with the local Chinese people living in Hutongs. Afternoon RickShaw tour to Beijing's traditional Hutongs. Afternoon visit to Xiushui Market for silk, vase all other kinds of local arts and crafts. Tonights' banquet is the world famous Beijing Roast Duck in the No. 1 restaurant-Quanjude.
Day 6 Beijing/Xi'an (B/L/D)
Flight to Xi'an, ancient capital for 11 centuries, and the ancient gateway to the Silk Road full of Chinese legendary historical sites. In the afternoon, you are arranged to visit Provincial Museum and City Wall. In the evening, go to visit the Tang Dynasty Show and Dinner which lets you enjoy the royal arts like a king in the 7th century;
Day 7 Xi'an (B/L/D)
Visit Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, Bell Tower and Wild Goose Pagoda. Tonight is Chinese Traditional Dummpling Bonquet in "Defachang Jiaozi Restaurant".
Day 8 Xi'an/Chengdu (B/L/D)
You will be met in the lobby of your hotel and to be transferred to the airport for your flight to Chengdu. Arriving in Chengdu, be met & transferred to your hotel. In the afterboon, you will have the Cruisine Lesson in Sichuan Cruisine Institute. There are Cruisine Show, On-the-spot practise under the supervise of the Chefs. And after all these, there will be the Chef Uniforms and Certificate be issued to the qualified students.
Day 9 Chengdu (B/L/D)
Full day visit of Dufu House, Wangjiang Tower, Panda base, and Dujiangyan Irrigation. In the eveing, you will taste the Sichuan Cuisine in the "Taoranju Restaurant". The character of Sichuan Food is hot and Ma (you will have a strong feeling in your tongue).
Day 10 Chengdu/Guangzhou (B/L/D)
Half Day visit Sanxingdui Ruin. Then be transferred to the airport for your flight to Guangzhou, arriving in Gunagzhou, be met & transferred to your hotel. Have a taste of Chinese-Muslim Cuisine in Xinjiang Mansion which is famous for its authentic Muslim dishes.
Day 11 Guangzhou (B/L/D)
Half day trip to Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Chen Family Temple,Temple of Six Banyan Trees,Before enjoy your Seafood Bunquet in Dongjiang Seafood Restaurant, have a visit of Qingping local market, see all the rare animals for sale destined for dinner plates.
Day 12 Guangzhou/Shanghai (B/L/D)
You will be transferred to the airport for your fight to Shanghai. Arriving in Shanghai, you will be picked up from airport to hotel, tour to Bund, Nanjing Road. In the evening there will be a Shangcheng Acrobatic Show.  Before the show, I would like arrange the "Old Shanghai Restaurant" for your dinner. Built in the beginning of Guangxu Year in Qing Dynasty (about 170 years ago), it is the origine of Shaghai Cuisine with many leaders from foreign countries.
Day 13 Shanghai (B/L/D)
Visit Shanghai Museum, Yu Garden, Yuyuan Market, Children's Palace & Oriental Pearl TV Tower.  "Lubolang" is your China's last restaurant. Tonight snacks are the main food which are famous for its delicacy.
Day 14 Shanghai/  (B)
You will be transferred to the airport for the flight to your next destination.
