The ancient commercial passage "silk road" is the conduit of China's first links with the Western world. It was not only linking west and east economically, politically and culturally, but also an important route for Buddhism to enter China. This 7 nights tour package will visit Xian, Urumqi, Turpan, Dunhuang, and Lanzhou.
Day 01 / Xian (D)
Arrive Xian, meet and greet by your local tour guide and transfer to hotel after dinner.
Day 02 Xian/Urumqi (B/L/D)
Visit the Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum and Huaqing Hot Springs. Fly to Urumqi.
Day 03 Urumqi (B/L/D)
Full day excursion to Tianchi Lake situated on Tianshan Mountain. Boat ride on the Tianchi Lake.
Day 04 Urumqi/Turpan/Dunhuang (B/L/D)
Visit Ancient City of Gaochang. The Flaming Mountain, Astana Tombs, Grape Valley and Karez Well. Enjoy the dance show at the dinner before boarding the overnight train from Turpan to Dunhuang.
Day 05 Dunhuang (B/L/D)
Arrival Dunhuang. After lunch, visit the Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, which houses the richest ancient murals and sculpture in China. Behind the 250 meter high sand dunes of Mingsha Mountain is the Crescent Moon Spring. Sightseeing the yellow sand dunes of Mingsha Mountain (Rumble Sand Mountain) in the sunset.
Day 06 Dunhuang/Lanzhou (B/L/D)
Take a coact to Jiayuguan, the starting point of the Great Wall. Visit the Jiayuguan Tower of the Great Wall. After lunch, transfer to Lanzhou.
Day 07 Lanzhu / Xian (B/L/D)
In the morning, visit the White Pagoda, Mother's Image of Yellow River, Zhongshang Bridge, and ancient water wheel. After lunch, take flight to Xian
Day 08 Xian (B/L)
Visit the Xian Old City Walls in the morning before being transferred to airport for your next destination.
