Itinerary 

 

Day 1               Oct. 18th          Monday      San Francisco/Shanghai

Travel(on your own) to San Francisco International Airport for an afternoon flight to Beijing. Your adventure begins as you fly trans-Pacific aboard a wide cabin jetliner and cross the international dateline. (Connecting flight in Beijing to Shanghai)

Day 2               Oct. 19th          Tuesday      Shanghai

Arrive in Shanghai, the largest metropolis in China. Known worldwide for its highly developed industrial, commercial and financial components, Shanghai is the host of the Expo 2010 World's Fair between May 1 and October 2010. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel. 

 

Day 3              Oct. 20th          Wednesday    Shanghai (B/L/D)

Today’s sightseeing includes the Yu Garden, a maze of marvelous pavilions, ponds, rocky works and over-arching trees. Then you’ll visit the Bund, a famous waterfront park followed by a business visit to the Pudong Economic Development Zone. Business Seminar. Evening tour to Shanghai Expo.

 

Day 4               Oct. 21st          Thursday        Shanghai/Suzhou(B/L/D)

Drive to Suzhou (1 and half hours). The sightseeing includes to the centuries old Lingering Garden, Tiger Hill and Hanshan Temple. Visit to the National Embroidery Institute to see silk embroidery, an important local craft with 1,000 years’ history. Finally, enjoy an evening dinner show of the traditional Chinese music.

 

Day 5               Oct. 22nd         Friday             Suzhou/Hangzhou (B/L/D)

Drive to Hangzhou (2 hours). Enjoy a boat cruise on West Lake with a relaxing stopover at jewel-like pagodas and tea houses. Then take a visit to the centuries old Lingyin Temple, the main feature of the 64.3 ft-high camphor-wood carved Buddha.

 

Day 6               Oct. 23rd         Saturday         Hangzhou/Xian (B/L/D)

Fly to Xian in the early morning. Visit the Ancient City Walls, and the Bell Tower. Continue to the greatest archaeological finds of the century, more than 2,000 year-old Terracotta Warriors interred with the Emperor Qin Shi Huang. If time permit, take tour to a typical local house Enjoy delicious dumpling banquet before Tang Dynasty show.

Day 7             Oct. 24th           Sunday            Xian/Beijing (B/L/D)

Morning tour to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda before transfer to airport for your flight to Beijing.

Beijing, the dynamic capital of the People's Republic of China. Once the imperial city of Mongol, Ming and Manchu emperors, Beijing today is still extraordinarily rich in historical sites and cultural relics. Meet at airport and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, take Hutong tour. Enjoy Roasted duck dinner and Beijing city night view including the intriguing architecture of the main Olympic venues, the National Stadium (Bird’s Nest) where the Opening and Closing Ceremonies held in 2008, and the National Aquatics with the nickname of “the Water Cube (H2O3)” for its  unique out looking.

Day 8               Oct. 25th          Monday          Beijing (B/L/D)

After breakfast, visit Temple of Heaven, the 500 year old Temple houses altars on which sacrifices and offerings were laid to the gods in a glorious setting of gardens, tress and sculptures. Continue to Tiananmen Square (the world’s largest city square). After lunch, visit to Forbidden City, the vast complex of palaces, which was the home to successive Emperors for more than 500 years.

 

Day 9          Oct. 26th              Tuesday      Beijing (B/L)

Morning tour to the Great Wall at Mutianyu, stretching almost 4,000 miles from the Pacific Ocean to the sands of Central Asia and befittingly crowned one of the ten wonders of the world. Picnic lunch atop of Great Wall. Business seminars in the afternoon.

 

Day 10             Oct. 27th          Wednesday    Beijing/ San Francisco (B/L)

Visit Xiushui marketbefore transfer to airport for your flight back home.
