Day 01 / Guangzhou
Upon arrival, You will be greeted by our guide and transferred to your hotel.
Day 02 Guangzhou/ Xi’an
Visit Sun Yat Sen Memorial hall, The memorial Hall of the Chen Family, and Temple of Xix Banyan Trees. Enjoy famous Dim Sum Lunch. In the afternoon, fly to Xian. Upon arrival in Xi’an, you will be met and transferred to the hotel.. (B/SL/D)
Day 03 Xi'an
Morning tour to the greatest archaeological discovery of the century, more than 2,000 year-old Terracotta Warriors interred with the Emperor Qin Shi Huang. Afternoon, tour the Huaqing Hot Spring Park, where the emperor had his bath with his concubines or Banpo Museum, where built on Banpo Neolithic remains village which dates back to 6,000 years ago. After a sumptuous dumpling dinner, enjoy our traditional Tang Dynasty show. (B/L/DS)
Day 04 Xi’an/Dunhuang
Morning at leisure. In the afternoon, visit to Shanxi Provincial Museum, Old City Wall and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Transfer to airport for your flight to Dunhuang. Upon arrival in Dunhuang, you will be transferred to the hotel. (B/D)
Day 05 Dunhuang
Tour starts around 11am. After special local lunch, visit Singing Sand Dunes and enjoy a camel ride into the dunes in Dunhuang. (B/L/D)
Day 06 Dunhuang
Touring the Mogao Grottoes, the World's richest treasure trove of Buddhist manuscripts and art. Begun in 386AD and added to over the next 9 centuries, the grottoes total over 45,000 square meters and boast over 2,000 murals and sculptures. Visit Dunhuang Museum. In the evening try Dunhuang Desert Special Cuisine Dinner and then local folk dancing performance. (B/L/D)
Day 07 Dunhuang/Turpan
In the morning visit Yumenguan Pass, formly as one of the west gates out of the country during the Han Dynasty (206 B. C. -220 A. D.). It is quite ruined by the shifting sands but still shows its past splendor. Then visit the Great Wall of the Han Dynasty. Though made of clay and bulrushes, the wall still remains intact.
After having lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Hecang Fortress. Supplies like food and wine were transported here from nearby towns to be stored for the armies that guarded the Yumen Guan Pass. Transfer to the train station for an overnight train ride to Turpan. (B/L/D)
Day 08 Turpan
In the morning, visit the Ancient City of Gaochang. It was laid in the first century B.C. and abandoned roughly in the 15th century. Then visit Astana Tombs, famous for its terra-cotta figurines and tomb paintings. After lunch, visit the Flaming Mountain. Crustal movements and years of efflorescence have created its unique geological features. Enjoy the cultural show of Uygur songs and dances in the evening. (B/L/D)
Day 09 Turpan/Urumqi
Check out and depart from your hotel to visit the Karez Well. It is an irrigation system of wells connected by underground channels and is considered as one of the three great ancient engineering projects in China. Then visit the Emin Minaret. After having lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Grape Valley. Be transferred to Urumqi. Upon arrival in Urumqi, take a short city tour, which gives you a glimpse of the major sights of this northwestern city. Here you can see nomadic Kazakhs, a Middle Eastern bazaar , a jade-carving center and more. Check in your hotel.(B/L/D)
Day 10 Urumqi/Kashgar
Morning at leisure. Take a evning flight to Kashgar. (B/D)
Day 11 Kashgar (Sunday)
After breakfast, head directly to the Great Bazaar, alive with storybook scenes: thousands of merchants haggling for camels, carpets and other native goods; imams on donkeys and veiled women in their back robes. After wandering the Great Bazaar, you will visit Id Kah Emin Mosque, one of the largest in China, and the Tomb of the Fragrant Lady. (B/L/D)
Day 12 Kashgar / Urumqi
in the morning, you will visit the Moore Buddha Pagoda, then visit a Uygur village. If time permit, visit local minority’s kindergarten to see children’s performance. Transfer to airport for your flight back to Urumqi. (B/L/D)
Day 13 Urumqi
After breakfast, enjoy an excursion to Nanshan Mountain, where You will visit a Kazakh family in their yurt and Tianchi Lake, nestled in the Tianshan Mountain range. Take a boat ride on the beautiful Lake of Heaven (Tianchi) and enjoy breath-taking views of a crystal clear lake. (B/L/D)
Day 14 Urumqi / Guangzhou
Morning at leisure. Fly to Guangzhou. Upon arrival, check in your hotel. (B)
Day 15 Guangzhou/
Today you will have free time to go shopping or explore more of Guangzhou by yourself. Transfer to airport for your flight home.
