Day 01 US/China Board your flight for China today

Day 02 Beijing
Upon your arrival in Beijing, your tour guide will meet you the airport and you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 03 Beijing (B/L)
A full day excursion to the Great Wall, the most well-known landmark in all of China. It is one of the most amazing feats of human labor ever constructed. After lunch, a short drive to the Ming Tombs along the Sacred Way where you will marvel at the giant marble figures and animals guarding the tomb of the emperors from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644AD).
Day 04 Beijing (B/L/SD)
A morning tour of the largest public square in the world, Tiananmen Square, as well as the Palace Museum, known as the Forbidden City. This complex of imperial palaces was home to the emperors for over 500 years during the Ming and Qing dynasties. The grand halls are a living museum and hold numerous collections of priceless Chinese treasures. After lunch you will visit the Summer Palace, a former summer resort for the royal family. Take a boat ride on the beautiful Lake Kunming. This evening you will be treated to a delicious Beijing roasted duck dinner.
Day 05 Beijing / Xian (B/L)
Your sightseeing this morning is the Temple of Heaven, where the Ming and Qing emperors prayed for good harvest. It is the largest historical temple complex remaining in China today. After lunch, board your flight to Xian, the great ancient capital and the eastern end of the Silk Road. Upon arrival, you will have a city tour of the ancient city wall, which is still well-preserved despite its history.

Day 06 Xian (B/L)
This exciting day of sightseeing will include the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses at the Tomb of Qin Shi Huang, the first Qin Emperor, as well as the Bronze Chariots. After lunch at a local restaurant, a visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which was built in the year 652 AD. It contains a large volume of Buddhist scriptures, which were obtained from India by the eminent monk Xuanzang. Remainder of day will be at your leisure.
Day 07 Xian/Guilin (B/L)
This morning you will visit the Shaanxi Provincial Museum where you will discover how Xian became the capital of Chinese culture. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Guilin, a city known for its beautiful landscape, spectacular pointed mountains, winding rivers and limestone rock formations. The remainder of the day will be at your own leisure.

Day 08 Guilin (B/L/D)
A beautiful day to enjoy a downstream cruise on the Lijiang River and be exposed to the indescribable scenery surrounding it. Lunch will be served on board. Disembark at Yangshuo, a small town with many shops selling traditional Chinese arts and crafts. Visit the local markets before returning by coach to Guilin
Day 09 Guilin/Shanghai (B/L)
A city tour this morning includes descending into the most extraordinary underground scenery in the Reed Flute Cave, followed by the climb up to the Fubo Hill for a panoramic view of the city. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Shanghai, the cosmopolitan, bustling, metropolitan city of China. In the late afternoon a visit to the Shanghai Museum, one of the largest in China, which houses a collection of 120,000 cultural relics.

Day 10 Shanghai (B/L/D)
Your sightseeing this morning features a tour of the Yu Garden, the old area of the city, and a stroll along the lively waterfront, known as the "Bund". After lunch, a visit to the Jade Buddha Temple. An acrobatic show will amaze you this evening after dinner
Day 11 Shanghai (B)
At your leisure in the morning until your transfer to the airport for departure.
Extension tour to Suzhou & Hangzhou

Drive to Hangzhou to visit the West Lake. You will surely appreciate the fabled scenery such as 'Broken Bridge', 'Autumn Moon over the Calm Lake' and ' Three Pools mirroring the Moon'. You will also be able to take a lovely cruise tour on the West Lake

Day 12 Hangzhou/Wuzhen (B/L/D)
Visit Lingyin Temple, which is among the ten most famous Buddhist temples in all of China with a history of over 1000 years. Continue on to Six Harmony Pagoda and Guozhuang Garden before driving to Suzhou via historical town of Wuzhen, an fine example of an ancient water town, where you will have a cruise along its zigzag waterways.

Day 13 Wuzhen/Suzhou/Shanghai (B/L/D)
A short tour in Wuzhen before driving to Suzhou. Upon arrival, visit the Lingering Garden, Tiger Hill, and Silk Spinning Factory. In the afternoon, continue your ride by coach back to a scrumptious Shanghai farewell dinner.
